A 29-unit independent seniors living development on Sydney's east, delivered by Platino Properties as developer. The project sits at the intersection of accessibility-driven design and apartment-grade build quality, with operator-ready handover criteria running alongside the construction programme.
Key challenges
The Construction Certificate phase carried the bulk of the design coordination load. Approvals were managed end-to-end with the certifier, and consultant input from the architect, structural and services engineers was coordinated tightly enough to keep the design tracking with the build programme.
Day-to-day delivery sat alongside ongoing assessment of progress claims, variations and EOTs. The developer-side position meant decisions on commercial impact were made in-house, which kept lag between issue and resolution short.

Currently active. Reporting cadence is fortnightly PCG meetings and monthly progress reports to the Platino principals. Site safety audits, design reviews and quantity surveyor assessments are attended as standing meetings.
